I love ribbon. Everything about it. Any little bows or anything because you can choose the material, thickness, colour, and finish if its shiny, sheer, fluffy or matte.
One of my favourite things to use it for is makeshift jewellery because you can just tie it around your neck or ankle wrist in a little bow or tie one massive or tiny little strip in a bow at the top, add to your pigtails, braids, or to each individual part of an up-do.
You can also lace ribbon through a bunch of stuff like shoes, but ESPECIALLY with doc martens or another leather shoe👞 (use a metallic satin finish ribbon!!).
Actual jewellery is also another good one for ribbon- you can tie bows around earrings, or make beaded bracelets from it. Along with what I said before as using ribbon itself as an accessory.
My favourite ribbon ties between patterned and textured ribbon, and a simple satin finish. You can find really cool rolls of ribbon with sheer bits, flower pieces, and vintage prints from second hand shops or even craft stores. If thats hard to find, a simple pretty satin finish will do (i 💝 blue, pink, & purple).
