one of my all time favourite collections from the 2000's is anna sui's spring 2002 collection! anna sui has SO MANY gorgeous collections from her first launch in '81 up to now. I adore all of her spring collections and the pallets and themes of them all.
A lot of different shades of purple are put into this, and i love love love the incorporation of it so much (purple is my fav colour;)). other key colors are green, white, blue, navy, and black (also hints of pink!). I really love the use of shimmers and metallics in this collection, which add an extra aspect to each of the looks and give it more levels. The sheer pieces are also another one of my favourite parts of this collection! they are super put together and it really layers well with the non-sheer pieces. A lot of the collection is super classy, and i really love the feminine aspects to each of the peices. the pastel color pallet contrasts the darker blues, blacks, and purples used in the looks and compliment eachother really well!
My a few of my fav looks are the first, second, third third to last, and last from the slideshow above- she has plenty more looks from the spring 2002 collection you can find through her as well. i really adore anna sui as a designer, her work has had the same touch of her for so many years, and she knows how to put together incredible looks!
